In the world of Pokemon until now there was a well-established tradition that invariably was followed – with each generation the games were released in paired and complimentary sets based on color, and after a year or two, a complimentary third title would be released that largely incorporated all of the content from both of the previous titles. That was the basic format and it was invariably followed, until now. Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 represent a significant departure in the series traditions in that rather than create a third title that ties the first two 5th Gen games together – the long expected Pokemon Grey that never materialized – Gamefreak instead released a sequel to Black and White that offered gamers another bite at a world they know well, but some two years later.

The philosophy behind the series has always been to mix together a story with the overall goals to both Catch 'Em All and become the Pokemon League Champion, and those traditions are maintained in these new games, but with the addition of a large amount of all new content, including interactive and online modes. In other words it just gets better and better.
As you leave home and follow the traditional path towards becoming an adult, and a Pokemon Trainer, and all that that entails, try to remember you are also saving the world, right? Right!
